Rastriya Mahila Adhikar Manch (MAM)

One key roles of Prerana is to support Rastriya Mahila Adhikar Manch (MAM) as a national secretariat. MAM, a people’s organization of rural women, currently has around fifty thousand members (18000 formal member and 31600 informal members) associated and actively works to promote women’s issues and rights at both local and national levels. The main aim of the project was to establish women rights by ending the all types of violence against women and ensure women representation in political institution.
