Reducing Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Lele

This project aims to reduce sexual and
gender- based violence (SGBV) in Lele through:
1) increased awareness and
understanding of concepts, approaches
and laws to address SGBV; 2) promoting
community engagement for
transformative behavioral change of
gender norms; and 3) creating and
strengthening community. This project was implemented as substantial educational training, promotional materials and transformative behavioral change workshops. The knowledge and skills in women’s rights and legal tools, advocacy, and local government practices gained from this project will continue to be implemented.
